Aim of the department

To develop rational approach for economic behaviors and values in younger generation by teaching, learning, research and supporting effective qualities and skill of students for growing them in the society as responsible and excellent human.

INTRODUCTION :

Dept. of Economics was started in 1973-74 to imparts Under Graduates course. Though the college situated in rural area our dept. has provided great opportunities to enhance knowledge.

PLAN OF ACTION OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS (JUNE 2021- MAY 2026):---

Attend faculty Development programmers as per need based.

Research for Social-economic problems in the Sundargarh district.Improvement of departmental library.

Organize Seminars, Webinars, study tour to encourage the students in research work.
