YOUTH RED-CROSS (YRC)

The Youth Red-Cross unit of Dalmia College was started in 1976-1977. All the students of the college are the members of the unit. The basic objective of the Red-Cross is to serve the needy, enlighten the ignorant and foster friendship. Besides, it also aims at rendering relief in times of natural calamities, to ensure proper treatment of poor patients, to provide financial assistance to the poor and helpless patients and to render help in emergencies.

Enrollment :
1. Membership of this programme is open to all students and members of the staff. The Youth Red Cross Unit of the College is affiliated to the Red Cross Society.

2. A member of the staff shall be nominated as Counsellor by the Principal.

3.The counsellor shall select a group of volunteers from among the students who shall organize blood donation camps, First aid training, Ambulance training and shall motivate the other students in disaster management.
